In spite of the not-so-easy time, this year’s edition of Caseifici Aperti at the Caseificio Bio counted more than 400 families from all over the world!
It was our concern and priority to ensure security measures for Covid-19 during the guided tours, with safety distances respected and entrances restricted to smaller groups of visitors.
On 11 and 12 September (the days named by the Consortium as the reference for this year’s edition), more than 400 families from all over the world arrived. In short, a real success!
We organised and managed more than 40 guided tours with related tastings, registering a record flow of purchases of our Organic Parmigiano Reggiano at the end of each visit, which are also affecting online sales from our E-commerce site.
The most incredible aspect, every year, is the passion we gather from the curious people who come from all over. Not just people who are passionate about the product from a purely food point of view, but people who are interested in learning about its history, the work and all the culture behind it.
We would not have expected such numbers due to the difficult health situation we are experiencing… and instead, once again, you have surprised us!
At this point, the hope is that the growth trend continues to rise year after year and that the passion of Italians and non-Italians for organic food and wine does not stop. As already mentioned, it is not just about food, it is really a cultural issue. Culture is gold and must be preserved, like the white gold of Parmigiano Reggiano.
The Reggiani Family is waiting for you, for the next edition of Caseifici Aperti or whenever you like!
We do guided tours all year round.
