The ‘World Cheese Awards’, the competition that pits cheese producers from all over the world against each other, took place in Bergamo! More than 3000 participants from every corner of the planet…
To encourage producers to participate in the event, the Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium set up the National Parmesan Cheese Association, of which we at the Caseificio Bio Reggiani are a part.
So we decided to participate in the competition, almost for fun, but the surprising thing was that… our Organic Parmigiano Reggiano for the 18/23 month maturation took the GOLD MEDAL!
In addition, Parmigiano Reggiano is confirmed as the most awarded cheese in the competition, with a total of 117 medals received.
We are moved, excited and extremely grateful. To our work, to our family, to our customers and to our animals.
This Victory confirms to us 3 very important things:
1) Parmigiano Reggiano is synonymous with quality
2) Organic is synonymous with quality
3) Work, Passion and Love translate into Results
Lately we have been collecting a series of formidable results day after day, but we do not sit on our laurels. We can always do better and the goal is always one step further.
